If you are looking for a coffee that is comfortable and sweet, you've got to try this one. It's a medium roast from Guatemala with a delicate balance of  milk chocolate, pear, apricot, apple and almonds. It is great for espresso and pour-over/filter.

La Hermosa was started by Max Pérez, a fourth generation of coffee producer. He works with a great team to produce specialty coffees through experience and innovation; maintaining 100% organic agricultural practices that are friendly to the environment and focusing on corporate social responsibility to achieve a new form of agricultural management economically viable for all parties involved.

Located on the slopes of the Acatenango Volcano, Their farm fields range from 1,9000 meters above sea level to 2,100 meters above sea level where the most delicate and exotic varieties are planted. La Hermosa has a volcanic soil rich in minerals, a rainfall of 1,000 mm and a temperature of 21ºC, which translates into one of the best microclimates in the world to produce specialty coffees.

LOCAL

Edmonton, AB

LITTLE FACT

They burst onto the scene in 2020 when they took home first place in both the Canadian AeroPress Competition and Canadian Brewers Cup competition. They represented Canada at the World Brewers championship the following year.

Our mission

We're on a mission to bridge the gap between a better cup of coffee and tea at home and the local craftspeople who are passionate about producing it.

We want to connect the Edmonton coffee lovers with Edmonton. There are so many great cafes, small batch roasters, and hidden treasures within our city that are waiting to be discovered.

Support Local

Early on our journey, we found out that more than 80% of coffee and tea purchased locally isn't actually local.

Wouldn't it be amazing if 80% of the tea and coffee purchased in Edmonton was local? And, the 20% that came from elsewhere was the very best the world had to offer?
