Burundi - Nuyagishiru - washed

$16.00
In Stock

We're so excited to share this delicious coffee with you! This single origin coffee brews wonderfully in both espresso and drip methods, offering intense fruit flavors and chocolate notes.

This coffee comes from Nyagishiru CWS washing station, Burundi. It is truly beautiful, situated in a valley surrounded by the Nyagishiru Hills, which it's named after. The coffee is sweet and clean. With proper management happening, we believe this could be one of the best washing stations in Burundi in the coming years. Interestingly, it's also located in a lesser known coffee region, Muyinga District, outside of Kayanza, the province the majority of Burundi's coffee is produced.

LOCAL

Edmonton, AB

LITTLE FACT

They burst onto the scene in 2020 when they took home first place in both the Canadian AeroPress Competition and Canadian Brewers Cup competition. They represented Canada at the World Brewers championship the following year.

Our mission

We're on a mission to bridge the gap between a better cup of coffee and tea at home and the local craftspeople who are passionate about producing it.

We want to connect the Edmonton coffee lovers with Edmonton. There are so many great cafes, small batch roasters, and hidden treasures within our city that are waiting to be discovered.

Support Local

Early on our journey, we found out that more than 80% of coffee and tea purchased locally isn't actually local.

Wouldn't it be amazing if 80% of the tea and coffee purchased in Edmonton was local? And, the 20% that came from elsewhere was the very best the world had to offer?
