Ethiopa - Aricha - Faysel Abdosh

$21.00
In Stock

This light, bright cup of coffee is sure to be a favorite. It has notes of cherry, raspberry, tangerine, honey and blueberry. Great for both filter and exciting espresso.

It comes from Mr. Faysel Abdosh, Ethiopia. Mr. Faysel Abdosh, a well known coffee producer in this region for his high quality lots and exquisite processing techniques. Faysel submitted one of his natural anaerobic coffee to the 2020 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition and won 12th place, scoring a high 88.84 (we offered this coffee previously as Ethiopia Bombe). This accomplishment can be attributed to the station's immaculate processing techniques and the workers' attention to detail when sorting cherries for ripeness. In addition to producing coffee, Faysel is a well respected leader in his community, known for his charitable works that include building schools in the area and investing in road development projects.

LOCAL

Edmonton, AB

LITTLE FACT

They burst onto the scene in 2020 when they took home first place in both the Canadian AeroPress Competition and Canadian Brewers Cup competition. They represented Canada at the World Brewers championship the following year.

Our mission

We're on a mission to bridge the gap between a better cup of coffee and tea at home and the local craftspeople who are passionate about producing it.

We want to connect the Edmonton coffee lovers with Edmonton. There are so many great cafes, small batch roasters, and hidden treasures within our city that are waiting to be discovered.

Support Local

Early on our journey, we found out that more than 80% of coffee and tea purchased locally isn't actually local.

Wouldn't it be amazing if 80% of the tea and coffee purchased in Edmonton was local? And, the 20% that came from elsewhere was the very best the world had to offer?
