Connoisseur Series - Coffee Subscription

$120.00
In Stock

If you're looking to turn your love of coffee into a hobby, or you genuinely want to become a coffee connoisseur and learn everything there is to know about the beverage, then our Connoisseur Series is for you!

Every month, we'll send you four different coffees from different origins. We'll pick different varieties from major regions of that origin, and even different roasteries from across Canada that have developed these coffees just a tiny bit differently, in order to deepen your appreciation.

This is definitely not your typical coffee subscription. This is more of a course—one that will help you connect with the world around you through the power of good coffee! At the end of the series, you'll become a true coffee connoisseur!

We're so excited to welcome you to our subscription club! What you should know:

  • Over the next year, you or someone you love will get to experience coffees from 21 origins—Papa New Guinea, Indonesia, India, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Congo, Uganda, Panama, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. You'll also get to try coffees from Peru and Bolivia in addition to Brazil and Colombia.

  • We're going to send you easy-to-digest information about each origin so that you can better understand where these coffees come from and how they're made. We'll also send you interviews, recipes, best practices and so much more from our talks with farmers, roasters, and baristas that deeply know coffee from each origin.

  • Your monthly coffee selection will be nothing short of exhilarating. We go to great lengths to make sure the coffees we choose are the cleanest around. That means we ensure your coffee is sourced from small batch farmers who care about quality and growing their crops in a way that supports the natural environment—meaning they don't use pesticides and other harmful chemicals.

  • When you join our coffee subscription, it's like joining a club. We're planning regular meet ups in small groups where we'll explore different coffees, brewing techniques, etc.

You can change or cancel anytime, so there's no need to worry.  Pricing includes shipping anywhere in Alberta and many surprises along the way.

Our Mission

We're on a mission to bridge the gap between a better cup of coffee and tea at home and the producers who are passionate about producing it.

We believe that life is like a garden. It can provide so much but it needs to be fed and cultivated. We want to support the community of coffee and tea in a way that feeds and supports everyone involved in the rich and meaningful culture of coffee and tea from producers around the world, to the people who get the products to us here in Edmonton, to the retailers and businesses that sell or serve us the products.

Support Local

What's the difference between buying something on Amazon versus a local craftsperson?

No one will dispute the advantages of big box stores like Walmart and massive online retailers like Amazon. Selection, convenience and price are the three that tend to come to mind for most of us.

While these benefits make a difference in our lives, a question we want to ask is, “what are the invisible costs of buying from these huge multinational companies instead of buying from your local producers and retailers?” They range from jobs lost, to lack of community culture and local innovation and environmental impacts.
