Shipping Information

Some things to consider as you shop with Gems of Alberta.

Coffee - At Gems of Alberta, we know fresh coffee is crucial to peak flavor.  We are committed to sourcing beans that have been roasted to order or within a few days from when your order was received.

For our model to work, we group orders and dispatch them to local roasters weekly.

Orders received by Wednesday at 10:00 AM ship out Tuesday of the following week. If you place your order past our cut-off point (e.g. Thursday), it will ship out a week later.

Transit times vary depending on where in Alberta, Canada or the US you are located in.

You will be notified once your order is on the route.

Tea - Our aim is to look for the finest quality hand-crafted tea in Canada, so we source our teas from the entire Alberta province as well as British Columbia. 

Similarly to coffee, we group orders and dispatch them to tea suppliers weekly. Orders received by Wednesday at 10:00 AM ship out Tuesday of the following week. If you place your order placed past our cut-off point (e.g. Thursday), it will ship out a week later.

After the orders are processed, allow 24-72 hours for shipping, depending on your location.

Gear - Our estimated lead times for gear orders that are under $250 in value is between 7 to 10 days. Orders that are $250 or above, are estimated to ship out within 2 to 3 days. Don't worry, once you place your order, our customer service team will personally get in touch with the details, so you know exactly what to expect.
