This coffee is a single-origin Nicaraguan that comes from 12 different farms. It's complex taste and character comes from blending four types of beans, which give it an interesting flavor unlike any other!

These farmers make up an independent coop that helps promote development in their communities by focusing on improving production methods and expanding reach into new markets. Traditional coops focus more on community-building projects such as building schools or homes whereas this particular organization has evolved beyond those traditional roots to be something much bigger!

About the Roaster

Candid Coffee Roasters was founded by Levi, a passionate Edmontonian who had been honing his craftsmanship at local roasteries for some time. He decided that only way to express the passion he has towards coffee is opening up a roastery himself! With unique flavor profiles like Candid's you can enjoy something truly special in your cup. The best part about this story? They're just getting started.

Edmonton, AB

Candid offers the finest and most expensive beans in Edmonton. This is why their retail bags are smaller, at 250 grams each!

Our mission

We're on a mission to bridge the gap between a better cup of coffee and tea at home and the local craftspeople who are passionate about producing it.

We want to connect the Edmonton coffee lovers with Edmonton. There are so many great cafes, small-batch roasters, and hidden treasures within our city that are waiting to be discovered.

Support Local

Early on our journey, we found out that more than 80% of coffee and tea purchased locally isn't actually local.

Wouldn't it be amazing if 80% of the tea and coffee purchased in Edmonton was local? And, the 20% that came from elsewhere was the very best the world had to offer?
